Staff Geohydrologists Needed

Job duties: Assist with conducting geohydrologic studies with an emphasis on groundwater large-scale, regional groundwater resources modeling. Collaborate on research and preparation of complex ground water models using MODFLOW, GSFLOW, MODPATH, MT3D, RT3D and SEAWAT. Review geohydrologic reports as well as perform water balances and geohydrologic characterizations of ground water basins. Assist in developing geohydrologic conceptual models. Synthesize data for geohydrologic characterizations of ground water basins. Interpret subsurface geologic information with respect to construction of ground water models. Assist in planning ground water modeling projects and collaborate on developing and managing model input and output data, including the statistical procedures used for data Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) project requirements. Convert geohydrologic ground water data and lithology into ground water model input files. Gather organic and inorganic water quality data, establish QA/QC requirements for groundwater quality parameters, run statistical analysis on water quality data sets to establish outliers, and understanding analytical procedures used for analyzing ground water quality data. Take model generated output and prepare figures and reports.

Job requirement: Master’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or closely related.
