    Staff Geohydrologists Needed

    Job duties: Assist with conducting geohydrologic studies with an emphasis on groundwater large-scale, regional groundwater resource modeling. Collaborate on research and preparation of complex groundwater models using MODFLOW, GSFLOW, MODPATH, MT3D, RT3D, and SEAWAT. Review geohydrologic reports as well as perform water balances and geohydrologic characterizations of groundwater basins. Assist in developing geohydrologic conceptual models. Synthesize data for geohydrologic characterizations of groundwater basins. Interpret subsurface geologic information with respect to the construction of groundwater models. Assist in planning groundwater modeling projects and collaborate on developing and managing model input and output data, including the statistical procedures used for Data Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) project requirements. Convert geohydrologic groundwater data and lithology into groundwater model input files. Gather organic and inorganic water quality data, establish QA/QC requirements for groundwater quality parameters, run statistical analysis on water quality data sets to establish outliers, and understanding analytical procedures used for analyzing groundwater quality data. Take the model generated output and prepare figures and reports.

    Job requirement: Master’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or closely related.
